New Patient Experience
At Pine Valley Dental, your first time experience is very important to us and as a new patient this is what you should expect:
- A one on one interview to review your personal history both medically and dentally
- A digital radiograph (x-ray) exam
- A full series of digital high definition photographs
- Through evaluation of your mouth to assess the following
- Soft tissue evaluation and oral cancer screening
- Airway evaluation
- Gum and supporting bone evaluation;
- Phase contrast microscope evaluation of plaque
- Home care evaluation;
- Cavity Detection
- Evaluation of existing dental work
- For children - evaluation of growth and development of the jaw and permanent teeth (which includes wisdom teeth)
- Occlusion (bite analysis)
- TMJ (jaw joint) evaluation
- Orthodonitcs evaluation
- Cosmetic evaluation
Approximately one week later there will be a complimentary consultation to review findings from your exam with the treatment options that will be available to you. We will answer all your questions regarding your treatment options and fees.
