Gum (periodontal) disease is an infectious bacterial infection which goes through stages of activity and non-activity. In order to control this process precise measuring and microscopic evaluation is utilized to determine what stage of periodontal disease exists and then to monitor the recovery of the supporting gums and bone.
Management of Active Disease
Our hygienists have undergone extensive post-graduate training in the use of highly specialized and advanced equipment in the treatment of periodontal disease. Many cases which may have looked like they would require gum surgery have responded so well, that surgery was not required.
Personalized Home Care Training
Gum (Periodontal) Therapy can only be successful if proper home care supports the results. No patient undergoes gum therapy without first having a customized home care training program. This is a hands on introduction to many different types of manual, electronic and hygiene aids that are available today. Our trained assistants see what works best for you, and then spends time showing you how to use it properly and effectively. Our goal is providing you the patient, customized client-centred oral hygiene care.
Kids Programs
Our young patients have different needs and concerns then our adult patients, so special times (P.D. Days & Saturdays) are reserved exclusively for them. Home care training programs are also available for the whole family at one time.
