COSMETIC (Smile Enhancement)

WHITENING (also referred to as bleaching)
A procedure done by the patient at home. Customized clear thin plastic trays are filled with a hydrogen peroxide gel and worn either overnight or for short periods during the day. Approximately 14 days use is all that is needed to substantially lighten the teeth.

WHITE FILLINGS
Depending on the location and size of the filling, there are two basic materials to choose from:

  • Composite Resin-a reinforced white plastic material.
  • Porcelain-for optimum strength and durability.

Repair chipped teeth

BONDING
The use of white filling material to enhance the appearance of the teeth.

PORCELAIN VENEERS
Porcelain facings (or laminants) that are custom fitted to the front and biting edge of the tooth. Bonded in place, these look and feel natural. Veneers can be used to correct problems with alignment, shape, position, spacing, or colour of the teeth.

PORCELAIN CROWN
Does the same as a porcelain veneer, however, utilized in situations where the existing tooth has been significantly weakened. A crown completely covers, strengthens and protects the entire tooth.

PERIODONTAL (Gum)

EXTENSIVE DIAGNOSTIC AND MONITORING SERVICES
Gum (periodontal) disease is an infectious bacterial infection which goes through stages of activity and non-activity. In order to control this process precise measuring and microscopic evaluation is utilized to determine what stage of periodontal disease exists and then to monitor the recovery of the supporting gums and bone.

MANAGEMENT OF ACTIVE DISEASE
Our hygienists have undergone extensive post-graduate training in the use of highly specialized and advanced equipment in the treatment of periodontal disease. Many cases which may have looked like they would require gum surgery have responded so well, that surgery was not required.

PERSONALIZED HOME CARE TRAINING
Gum (Periodontal) Therapy can only be successful if proper home care supports the results. No patient undergoes gum therapy without first having a customized home care training program. This is a hands on introduction to many different types of manual, electronic and hygiene aids that are available today. Our trained assistants see what works best for you, and then spends time showing you how to use it properly and effectively. Our goal is providing you the patient, customized client-centered oral hygiene care.

KIDS PROGRAMS
Our young patients have different needs and concerns then our adult patients, so special times (P.D. Days & Saturdays) are reserved exclusively for them. Home care training programs are also available for the whole family at one time.
